JR Tachikawa Station can be accessed as quickly as 25 minutes from Shinjuku Station on the JR Chuo Rapid and Special Rapid lines. Tachikawa is also the starting station for the JR Nambu Line and JR Ome Line which makes for convenient access to Ome and Okutama area.
